What it's all about...
What it's all about...
Strangely enough, I've often found throughout my life , even in my drinking days, perhaps in moments of clarity. That when it became apparent in whatever profession, business or organisation I was involved in at the time.
That it had served its purpose, and 'the lunatics were running the asylum', it was then time to leave and move on. Perhaps because, in some, 'til then, unrecognized way by me.
I'd simply outgrown it.
This had three beneficial effects, it relieved my of the stress of being further involved with it, strengthening my desire and eventual success in at least going some, and eventually the whole way of getting into recovery.
Which, as a result of the prolonged sobriety that followed, opened new horizons, not just in sobriety, but in life itself...
Which, on reflection, is what it's all about really...
