Can anybody offer some feedback on recovery books written by Abraham Twerski?
I've come across his name, several times, and I was wondering if any of us have found his writing to be helpful.

Yeah, I've read all his books. Dr. Twerski writes well and I found his books helpful in exposing the irrationality of addictive thinking (one of his books is entitled "Addictive Thinking").
I didn't find his writings on the recovery process to be particularly helpful, but someone who follows a 12 step program would likely feel otherwise.
