Hello all. I am currently on 4mgs of suboxone a day. I started in february on 12 mgs a day. I like suboxone and feel no high whatsoever. I do not want to take this medicine my whole life though. My goal is to be off of it completelyby October. I have my fears though. Im afraid the withdrawls are going to be horrible and cause me to relapse. I do not work he steps because of personal reasons. But i have made alot of changes in my life. I definitely do not want to live that lifestyle again that i was living. I am ready to become a responsible young adult. Please offer advice.

I didn't have a problem coming of the Sub's I had a problem coming off the antidepressant they also had me on. It took me a good 6 months to figure out that that is what it was. If they taper you right it shouldn't be an issue. Be honest with your treatment team is the only advice I can give.
