Taking Inventory and Other Important Stuff
This may not be the right thread for this part of the forum but I want to throw it out there since I am still fairly new at 30 days.
I've been ending my days with the BB and journaling. I've noticed that I've just wanted to start taking inventory and being really honest with myself and the feelings that have been "stuffing" up my soul.
So since doing this over the past few days my cravings have become less difficult to deal with. Very little anxiety.
Did this happen for you veterans?

BEN: You lucky, lucky bast***.
BRIAN: What?
BEN: Proper little jailer's pet, aren't we?
BRIAN: What do you mean?
BEN: You must have slipped him a few shekels, eh?
BRIAN: Slipped him a few shekels? You saw him spit in my face!
BEN: Ohh! What wouldn't I give to be spat at in the face! I sometimes hang
awake at night dreaming of being spat at in the face.
BRIAN: Well, it's not exactly friendly, is it? They had me in manacles!
BEN: Manacles! Ooh oooh oh oh. My idea of heaven is to be allowed to be
put in manacles... just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out o' your arse, sonny.
BRIAN: Oh, lay off me. I've had a hard time!
BEN: You've had a hard time?! I've been here five years! They only hung me
the right way up yesterday! So, don't you come 'rou-- "

Yes and No. You have started to experience the promises. That is exactly how it is supposed to work. However, most of us had to do more than just journal.
I had to work step 4 & 5 with a tough sponsor and experience some heavy life setbacks before I had the cravings lifted out of me. Consider yourself blessed to experience it so quickly.
