4 days into sobriety...
My boyfriend is four days into sobriety...
He was throwing up yesterday and complaining that he couldn't breathe...
He's gotten edgy a few times, but not like he is when he's drunk....
When do the physical symptoms of alcohol withdraw disappear? What should he expect in the next couple of days?

Everyone is going to have a different experience with detox and withdrawals, there's no way to tell what will happen next.
My concern is whether or not he's doing this safely and under a doctors supervision. Detox is dangerous and can be deadly. Can't breathe, throwing up, edgy, those are warning signs. Please, if possible have him consult with a doctor.
