Down Below in the Family and Friends Section . . .

You'll find a lot more opportunities to find the answers you seek. Someone is also likely to recommend Al-Anon Family Groups where they'll give you some coping tools as well as some tools for personal growth . . .

What hooked me on Al-Anon was somebody saying, "If you're obsessing on someone else's behavior, Al-Anon is for you."

I didn't have an answer or a "yeah, but" for that one, so I went . . . For a long time . . .

At Al-Anon, you'll learn about the "Three C's," that you didn't "Cause" the disease, that you can't "Cure" it, and you can't "Control" it . . .

If you just answered, "Yeah, right, I can too" to that last one, then there's some unlearning you need to do, because I promise you, you can't, and there are lots out there who can teach that truth . . . One taught it to me (she's dead now).

I don't know whether your husband is an alcoholic based on the information you gave (and really, the only diagnosis that matter is his), but I see some red flags.

And I see other red flags in the dynamics going on, which can't be healthy for you or the relationship...

Good luck, and keep coming back . . .
