I don't know if I was ready
I've had an opiate addiction for about 5 years. Tried to get clean lots of times. Tired of running out of pills early Etc but I just don't know if I was ready. Never hit rock bottom and dont want to. Feeling very down about myself right now. Any advice out there to stay on the straight and narrow?

Well if you're like me, there is no rock bottom. It's a bottomless pit. But, to me, being ready means that you want to be sober more than you want to use. It's up to you to decide if you are ready. Do you want to keep running out and probably buying them on the streets? Keep going through withdrawals? Feeling like crap all the time?
