Some people have a very hard time with SNRI withdrawal. I've gone through both hydro and tramadol withdrawal and the tramadol was way, way, way more difficult for me.
On hydro after about two weeks I felt pretty good. After tramadol I was still having problems after two months.
Now after 6 months I still have occasional re-occurence (about once or twice a month)of withdrawal symptoms although they are becoming less frequent and last for shorter periods of time.
Another problem with tramadol is the sexual performance side effects. Prior to tramadol no problems; now 100mg Viagra is only a partial help. Apparently these issues can linger for years in some people after SNRI withdrawal.
