Habits made worse by outpatient program
Just watched "Bad Liutenant" with Nicholas Cage...Whoa!!! Had to turn my head and burp alot, but that's just me.
We cannot predict when or where the triggers will come from, but what we can do is learn how to deal with them. And I suggest practicing in a safe enviroment, jail and inpatient would probably be the best, otherwise meetings and outpatient willhave to do.
If you can't overcome the craving at a meeting, what will you do when you run into your dealer at the store or on the street. Happens to me all the time, and besides informing them I no longer partake I cut it short and keep moving. But the worst is running into or just seeing old addict "friends" and then the fantasy begins. Again, I use my training, afforded me by addicts in treatment or meetings reminising. It seems to be working, I carry money everyday (I wish) but I do pass by a rather popular "spot" regularly and see the users milling about, calling my name and I just keep moving and burping.
Good luck in the real world, you never know what tomorrow will bring.
