I just had dental work actually the all the teeth I had left were pulled and afterwards the dentist offered me some lortab 7.5's for the pain and I said thanks but no thanks.I told him I am an ADDICT and if I just took one I might as well write up my obituary and dig my grave because im dead. I just can't control myself and one will lead to 20 and well you get the point and he respected me for this choice, plus ibuprofen 800's work just as good for pain imho.

I had a tooth pulled this week. I was surprised at how little pain there was.
It was way worse when the damn tooth was in there

Ibuprofen is fine, I reckon...hope all is well with you KT - great choice on the meds btw

Thanks guys I made that choice because ive been sober for 3 months now and I DO NOT wanna screw that up.

Congrats on 3 months King. Way to go. Keep pushing ahead in the right direction. That's how I stayed clean. My brain was still conniving on getting drugs even though I was clean for a few months. I didn't want to give up my clean time. Now I have 5 years.

Thank you for your post, I was worried about that myself, I have a chipped tooth and I have been putting off the dentist for years (DENTISTS ARE SCARY). I am so thrilled to hear that ibuprofen will do the trick, now I just have to get my booty in there. Maybe next month p.s. Don't eat popcorn when you have a chipped tooth owwww!
