Hey. I was a good girl. Y'all asked for quotes...I gave ya quotes.

Here's more:

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
- Thomas Edison

You don't have to control your thoughts; you just have to stop letting them control you.
- Dan Millman

All the world is full of suffering. It is also full of overcoming.
- Helen Keller

I like Thomas Jefferson.

"For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security."

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."

"The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government."

"As our enemies have found we can reason like men, so now let us show them we can fight like men also."

"Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto."

"Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state."

"Every generation needs a new revolution."

Yes. I certainly see where all of those apply to the recovery process.

Well, in that case...I like this one:

"The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government."

Nobody's going to like what everyone thinks and says, I try to appreciate things based on the perspective that they're coming from.

more or less of the same

" Tho' I am cut I am not slain so I shall lie down and bleed a bit, and rise again to fight anthor day"

Gen Nicholas Herkimer

Does anybody know who he is?

" Every man dies, not every man really lives."
Braveheart

In time I find
the reasons for My being here on earth
Without a doubt
the need is more Than what the fight is worth

It seems in dreams
I can’t explain Nor will I just accept
For who would you
choose to remain The blind man or the deaf

So please believe
the just are served And then you call me out
For fear To rear
it goes unnerved With just a scream and shout

The chance to dance
affords relief And some may say unwise
Of all the gall
and misbeliefs It’s he who wins that tries

Larrylive

PS is it just me or are some people wound so tight thier cross threaded?
I hope the mix of egostical sarcasim and houghty exestentialism (?)
isn't striking me odd because it's really me.
