any time frame would be appreciated. My appetite has shrunk considerably since these symptoms arised.
Also when did you feel symptom free? 1week? 10days? 2 weeks?
Thanks for input
Also why immodium instead of pepto?
gosh these are quite embarassing questions but any info would be valued

Everyone's different, life, you just gotta roll with it. It will get better.
Immodium (generic: loperamide) and pepto act differently.
Believe me, there are no embarassing questions here...but there have been a few embarassing answers!

Immodium is actually an opioid drug, but it does not cross the blood-brain barrier so it cannot get you high. So the reason it's different from pepto, esp. for a recovering opioid addict, should be obvious
Coming off of bupe, I felt horrible from days 4-7, but at the one week point things got noticeably better. I had lingering symptoms like insomnia, fatigue, and 'the runs' for about a month, though. They were 'no biggie' compared to days 4-7.
Hope you're doing okay Life, and do keep us posted on how you're progressing...

I am on day 11 now. I have the same lingering symptoms you mentioned bvaljalo, but my worst days were the first few days. Right now the worst is falling asleep. I am just so uncomfortable when I try to sleep. Its mostly my legs. They feel like theyre in a different climate of something.
So bvaljalo... after a month were the symptoms totally unnoticable? Also was it a sudden change or more of a gradual one. When did the sleep irregularities subside? Thank you so much. This website really gave me the edge I needed to quit. Now that Im past the worst part I already feel like that chapter of my life wont be repeated. Everyone here really understands and its totally great. Thanks guys.
