Congratulations Spica--I am so happy for you! The emotions--you will feel a wide range of them, but let them fall over you as they will--it is all normal and is a part of the "normal" world that we are not used to feeling. The depressed/down feelings will subside in a few days for most people. As I've said before I have bipolar as well--I was in a major depressive episode when I started subs so I cried and cried, but most people aren't like that. The big thing to remember is that the emotions are normal and are a sign that you "un-numbing" your senses! Please keep us posted!!

Thanks sunflower!

I appreciate hearing that this is a normal phase - even though I knew to expect emotions - it is intense when they first start surfacing again. Pesky annoying things that they can be sometimes...

I do not miss the grey fog tho so I am happy about that!

Spica, well done, so proud of you.

I'm owned by three cats, does that make me really, really smart?!

This is another saying about cats I heard:

"Other pets have owners, but cats have staff!!"

How true! Don't you just feel so priveleged when they lower themselves to sit on your lap and be stroked. They even reward you with a purr!!
