First day of my new life..

I finally made the move inter state to be with my girlfriend.
I've already seen my nre GP and all my meds sorted. Suboxone's a lot cheaper up here and I get quite a few take aways.
My parents aren't happy. They think I'm off on one of my crazy ideas again.
They'll get over it.
I'm just so glad to be in a new place where I start all over again. My girlfriend's friends are cool (only one knows about my previous heroin problem).
I haven't hardly been drinking at all.
I'm gonna look up NA groups as well as GROW groups.
I've been off the smack for about 10 months now and am feeling very happy. I'm posititive about the future.
I've had had years up until about 2 years ago, so I know I can do it again.
I'll also stay on these boards because I love the feedback I get from you guys.
So, all-in-all, things are looking up. And I've got the tools I need if/when I have a bad day.

Thanx guys. I love being clean, I love my new life and I love my girlfriend.
My parents think I'm insane but they'll come round...if not, oh well. It's their loss.
I've been writing soo much, I should have the first draft on my publisher's desk in a few weeks.
And of course I'll keep coming back Cindi...I love you guys.

Sugah...it's a novel, loosley based on my life as a drug addict/person with mental health issues. I've only ever published short stories so this is a bit daunting but my publisher's read a bit and reckons I'm on a winner.
Eventually, I like to turn it into a screenplay and make a film about it.
