Going from 10mg to 7.5 mg....

Today is the day I go from 10mg to 7.5 mg a day of Methadone. From what I hear, a successful taper is a very slow one. So that's what I'm doing!

Hope you're doing okay Snowman! My fiance went from 10mg to 5 mg today, so pretty much in the same boat Happy to report he's doing okay, though the tapers usually don't hit him for a day or 2. We're hoping this one won't be as tough as the last couple. Good luck and post on your progress - you CAN do this!!!

Thanks Shellslove!! I could tell around 6pm last night...at least the cramps in my legs were telling me... that seems the be the one withdrawal out of all of them, that really nags me. When I went down from 15 to 10, to took a few days to get used to it, but eventually it neutralized. I do take 2 alieve's @ night when I go to sleep...so I don't wake up @ 4am with my legs hurting.
