Drugs after withdrawl
My SO is currently going through withdrawals from suboxone. He has a friend that every time they hang out offers him coke and my boyfriend doesn’t have the balls to say no. Is this a garentee that he will relapse? Is there a certain time after he quits subs that he is less likely to relapse? Are there any drugs that are less likely to make you relapse if you were to do mush from time to time?
Hi, MyLove.
Welcome.
I don’t know a lot about suboxone, but if your SO is using coke with his friend, then I would say the relapse has happened and is on going.
I have known of people—mostly through this site—who stopped using one substance, like meth, and picked up another, like weed or alcohol or adderol.
My opinion? They are all addictive substancesto greater and lesser degrees and are best completely avoided.
Is your SO working a program as part of his withdrawing from suboxone?

I agree; it is likely he has already relapsed or will turn to another drug to replace it in his life to cope with withdrawals. He isn't saying no because he wants the coke. Does he want to get better?
