I have been on suboxone 8 months now. Im just a mess...it seems like it makes me have more anxiety ...my doctor treats me with utter disgust.
Im afraid of the withdrawal....has anyone here been through it?
I am on 8 milligrams a day..alrhough that varies as i dont always take it as prescribed..junkie that i am..
Just so sick of myself..sorry for being so negative..

I was on 24mg of subutex for a little over two years to help get off pain meds. I got tired of taking it and tapered myself down over four months. At the end, I was chipping pieces off the tablet and only taking it every three days. At the jump off point I was nervous. I had very mild withdrawal symptoms that only lasted maybe a week or two. The main thing was stomach issues. That was a year ago and I’m doing great.

I got caught up on the pain pill cycle after having several surgeries in a under a year. I couldn’t seem to taper off them at the time so I went the sub route. Wish I had not stayed on the Subs so long, but I am grateful I am finally free from all of it.
