Hi OTT! I think your perspective is awesome and important to share. If I believed my life would be a never ending battle or struggle to stay sober I could not have gotten sober. Only a message of hope and healing would have given me the courage to get free.

For me, taking complete control of my recovery and putting 100% of the responsibility for my sobriety on myself has given me a confidence in my recovery and a peace of mind that I had not experienced in my previous attempt at ending my self-destructive relationship with alcohol.

I do not need "treatment," nor do I want it, though it has been unjustly thrust upon me to some limited extent. Hence "none of the above."

I don't reallly have a plan as such. It's a work in progress. But it seems to be evolving towards bits and pieces from various places.
