The Man

I used to believe I was a worthless, disgusting piece of sht.
I used to believe I was deeply crazy.
I used to believe I was a tortured artist waiting to be discovered.
I used to believe that my family had harmed me.
I used to believe that people hated me/or addored me - nothing inbetween.
I used to believe that people thought I was icy cold.
I used to believe that I knew all the answers.
I used to believe that I didn't have to work hard at my job.
I used to believe that I laying in bed all day was a good idea.
I used to believe that taking drugs was far out and cool.
I used to believe that by drinking myself to near death, I would some how have a life like Jack Kerouac (who died in an armchair, surrounded by bottles).
I used to believe that burrowing money off my perants was not a problem.
I used to believe that something was pathologically wrong with me and that I was doomed.
I used to believe that I didn't know how to live, love, give, be at peace.

Don't believe these things anymore.

Anyone else got any old beliefs they are glad to have rid of?
