hey .

could do with some positive feedback please .
it appears my arteries are suffering , and I had a scary couple of days with regards to numb left arm and chest pains .

Long and short I need to stop a 35 year habit /addiction .

Any feedback would be gratefully received......I am making a date next week , and I plan to go cold turkey ...It just NEEDS to HAPPEN .

Thanks .

I wish you well with your plan! It's hard to deny the harmful effects of tobacco smoking and the less of it we do the more harm reduction we can bring to ourselves.
Have you considered the ecig/vaping route? Anecdotally I can attest to feeling the benefits of harm reduction after having stopped smoking tobacco two plus years ago, after being a smoker for almost 30 yrs. A lot of people switch with the goal of gradually lowering their nicotine intake and achieve a "softer" and more manageable "landing" , and others switch and enjoy the harm reduction .
Wish you well and hope to hear about a healthier you, good luck, I'm a huge fan of the cold turkey method for ending an addiction btw, that's how I got sober
I just found a great "cheat" for smoking , even without any plan to reduce my nicotine consumption, it has happened organically, because I do not think nicotine is the greatest harm factor with smoking I happily enjoy my "cheat".

I would buy the book or audiobook of Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking. It has helped millions of people to quit. Good luck!

Hey buddy- do it! Do it for your cute pup and do it for you. It sucks. At first. Then it gets better. Soon it's just a little tempting and we just let it be. Good luck, hope you check back in soon.
