Speaking of money, I so agree. My finances are in such better shape after quitting everything that it is amazing.

24 more for me.

Went on a 5 day fishing camp-out and after a couple drinks, I was smoking like I never stopped. Really bummed with myself. Today would have been day 87 without nicotine.

Back on the no smoking wagon. Day 1. Again.

I forgot what day it is, and it slipped my mind to post here because it's such a new thing for me--but I still have not smoked or eaten white sugar (the only sugar I eat is in fruit).

DAY 2!

LBrain - I'm from the Friends and Family side of the forums I don't do it enough to worry about, however it is evidently a gateway drug for my smoking!

I just signed up for intramural city league soccer. I'm competitive enough to want to be in prime form for it which means NO MORE SMOKING!

I've been researching cigars. Seems the brother in law once removed wants some cigars. They asked if we could get cubans. Uh, no.
I've been on the JR site looking. I almost picked one up the other day. I am reminded that I used to sit in the hot tub smoking a cigar with a rocks glass and two beers plus a big fat dip going at the same time.

The bad ole days.

I realized that I had zero cravings or urges when I spent the entire day doing yard work yesterday.

Still doing well. I've been eating like Henry VIII lately; however, when I got weighed at the doctor's yesterday they told me I had lost 4 pounds! Just cutting out sugar has accomplished that!

Glimer I did too. I find less need to eat sugar now because I can taste so much better. Same with salt.

My past regression towards nicotine was around 2-3 months I wouldn't smoke but I would chew loose leaf (old baseball habit). After a few weeks of that I would add cigarettes - smoke and chew at same time.

How friggin bad is that!?!!

Day 72 - no butts! (Or chew )

LBrain, isn't that a nice feeling to realize the cravings are disappearing?? In the early days, it's easy to feel like it will never get better, but if we keep at it, things get so much easier.

24 more for me.
