2 month smoking relapse
2 month smoking relapse
After 9 or so months smoke-free, I started smoking again late this summer.
I threw out the remains of a pack yesterday, and I'm getting back on the wagon. There is no good reason for me to smoke.
There are short-term reasons (for instance, even on the nicotine patch, I fly off the handle when I can't smoke, a slightly sublimated suicidal tendency is better than non-sublimated inclinations, smoking is a destructive outlet that substitutes for more destructive outlets, etc.) but those aren't good reasons.
Not sure if I'm going to post here regularly; sometimes posting helps me devote too much attention and energy to smoking, and sometimes it bleeds off compulsion to make compulsion more manageable.
Wish me strength of will and good sense as I go forward.
