Yes I know what you mean about "wondering" if you are an alcoholic. I guess it's true that if you have to wonder, well..... then you probably already know what the answer is. You will find the truth inside yourself. And alcoholism is a progressive disease. I could drink and stay out of trouble, MOST of the time, but I guess I finally had to realize that I was playing Russian Roulette with my family, my marriage, and my life. I was also setting a bad example for my two kids ages 11 and 14. I don't want to be the kind of parent who is drinking so much ya know? What am I teaching them by doing that? It has been so hard for me to face the truth. I've only got 19 days of sobriety right now. It has not been easy, but I am grateful to be here.
