This is called Buntzen Lake
It is a lake in a provincial park managed by BC Hydro
It is roughly 20 minutes from my place and is a great lake
to go canoeing or kayaking on.
It gets very busy in the summer since it has a picnic area as well. It is really nice to have it so close to a major metropolitan area.

BC is SO beautiful!! Thank you for those shots, Mike!! I camped beside a small lake at a provincial park in BC back in 1994, but I can't remember the exact name. It was so nice to hear the loons singing. We don't really have loons around here unless it's by accident.
