Just to find peace with fellow members of the sober society...

Ive been sober since Oct. 10, 2005...but, I realize meetings arent even enough - especially when there isnt one (like right now at midnight)! Its nice to get support at all hours whenever...

Hi Beautiful and welcome to SR!

it is great to have support at your fingertips , so to speak. SR saved my life in my early sobriety. i wasn't sleeping well, and to have people here was wonderful.

I wish you well in your continuing journey of recovery

This site has gotten me through some very hard times and quite a few nights. I went through some tough times when I first got clean. We all do. Thats why it's called recovery. Things are way different today. Today my life is pretty good. I am at peace with myself. The sleepless night are far and few between now. But, I still love coming here to SR to welcome and encourage newcomers, spread some of my experience, strengh and hope. A big part of my coming here is now a 12th step.
