I understand your frustration. I'm very sorry. It's so hard to sit it out and wait sometimes. But remember...there is a plan for you. Things are already starting to fall into place. All your ducks are lining up. A job will come next. I'm sure of it...

Eddie, I spent 34 years digging a hole with a steamshovel. I'm not going to be able to fill it up in a day or even a year. It took quite abit of time for me to get any credibility, espesially with my kid brother. I took the action and trusted the process and things happen in God's time not mine.

Thank you, Chris! You probably have a bad first impression of me now. Ask anyone around here and they'll tell you this is a VERY uncharacteristic thread for me. My mood may have something to do with me being taken off one of my meds and actually feeling feelings again. I'm feeling much better this evening, though. I KNOW I will get a job someday...

I feel as if I've been "waiting" forever. Well, one day at a time. One hour if needed. And today, it was needed! See how quick we are all to help our friends in need? I love this place! sorry to hear your feeling so frustrated and I agree with comments here, but would like to add, that there is nothing wrong with asserting yourself. In fact I think if I don't its an invitation for others to treat me badly. Now I am not talking about fighting, I won't do that, just let others know that you value yourself and your energy.

The thing about standing up for myself to these people (really it's one person in particular) is that it would be seen as "non-compliance" and that would NOT help me in this case. I guess I just need to pray more for this person 'cause I could really have a BIG resentment otherwise.
