Hi TJ
I drank Friday, too. And last night. Today I am introducing myself to SR and making the commitment to quit feeding my addiction. I quit back in October for 2 months and I'm starting all over again. It doesn't seem to be that unusual. Don't beat yourself up. Self pity and guilt deplete the remaining self-esteem that we have. Instead, love yourself and give yourself a pat for returning and being honest.
Twelve hours sober. It's noon and I would normally be having my first drink of the day. But for today... I'll take it sober. I'm a little afraid of what the week has in store for me, so I'll be checking back here often. That's why we're called Newbies!

Not stupid! Just doing what comes natural for us drunks to do. It's not easy to not drink. If it were we all wouldn't be here helping eachother to NOT succumb to our disease. Please keep coming back as many times as you need to get over the initial few months of heavy cravings!!!
