It's been 31 days!!

Today is my 31st day clean. I feel fantastic!!!! I have not had a vicodin in 31 days!! A year ago, I never would have thought I could do that. Hell, a month ago, I didn't think I could do it. But I did. And for today, I am choosing not to use.

I hope everyone has a great clean day.

me too!!!

I also took my last vicodin at about 6 PM on January 30. So I think this is my 32 day.

Am I proud? Not really - more amazed actually. I was so desperately tied to those things. So absolutely physically dependant. I know I should be proud - but I'm still ashamed that I got addicted in the first place. Ok, well, I'm getting less and less ashamed and I'm slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwly learning to accept it.

I think I will be a lot more proud, when I stop fantasizing about them. I still do. In fact, I still think about eating them. But... well.... so far so good.

You sound GREAT though Roxanne!
