How's it going tonight?
Are there no meetings in your area before Thursday? That's quite a while from now in your state. You need people.
You seem to have "one day at a time" thinking. That's excellent. All you're trying to do is make it through today without a drink. Tomorrow, if you wake up, you can work on tomorrow's sobriety. You can't have tomorrow's dinner today either.
Here's some AA slogans to hang on to:
Keep it simple. Think, think, think. Live and let live. One day at a time.
But for the grace of God.
When I was too new to understand the Steps, I hung on to the Slogans. You can too.
I've been sober over sixteen years. It can be done.
Remember, I'm pulling for you. We're all in this together.
