Thinking of you Listae. Glad it’s alleviated for you a little. 70 days is marvellous, hope you can celebrate a little.

69 days is terrific Alessandra, hope the sunburn isn’t too bad!

CH-well done for getting back to it, hope it was a learning experience and will make this time stronger.

How you doing FF? 20/50 mins is better than 0/50. Turning up is the hard part.

Day 10 over and out. The first day I have felt hopeful this time round.

congrats to all on one more sober day down :
Great to see you here Citrus - congrats on your upcoming milestone

I'm with Hawkeye FF, hiding stuff only leads to more secrets more hiding and, inevitably, more adductive self destruction.

Welcome back CH

Welcome back CH and sorry about your dental pain. Hope the dentist can get you taken care of quickly.

Congrats on 10 Sal and Listae 70 is awesome! FF hope all is well. Congrats to everyone that has logged another sober day!

Lordy, Lordy I made it to day 40! Started physical therapy on my ankle today so I’m really hoping I can get off these stupid crutches and get back to being active again soon (KNOCK ON WOOD!) Not much to report other than that. My mood improved today so I am super grateful for that. Found a new show on Amazon Prime Video so I’m also grateful for that

I am in for 24 more with you all. ODAAT. I won’t be picking up that first drink today.

Have a great rest of your day everyone

I am not a video game player but the new show - Fallout (which is apparently based on a video game) is excellent. I am 4 episodes in and am really enjoying it

I've been wanting to see that. I'm not a gamer either but I read the premise and I'm always down for a good apocalyptic jam. If you haven't seen it on Prime, check out "The Boys", BD. It's pretty good.

“The Boys” is great. I can’t wait for the next season to come out. I just finished up “The Brothers Sun” on Netflix and it was pretty good. I’d definitely recommend it. It’s a good action/comedy series

Good morning. Day 4.

I missed missed my pschiatrist appt yesterday. I got increasingly agitated after counselling and had some mild psychosis. Counselling always makes me paranoid. I'll go in for bloods today. I did just have my olanzapine increased so he probably would have kept my meds the same.

Looking forward to today's lunchtime meeting.

Doing a bit of maths now. Just got a problem out that looked impossible yesterday but turned out to not be so hard once I attempted it. I haven't started working on my abstract algebra textbook yet but maybe it's the same. Looks intimidating but fine when you get stuck in.

Was very tempted to drink yesterday. I was too amxious to walk to the shop thres minutes away though. I dunno if i would have. Im glad i didnt at any rate.

Has anyone heard and studied the Jelleneck Curve? I heard about it and then googled it. It really helped me understand the progressive nature of alcohol use disorder and why it becomes a vicious cycle.

The Jelleneck Curve also helped me understand why: "Drinking one drink isn't just drinking one drink" and why I can't have that "first" drink.

Look it up!

Got very agitated this morning, hearing voices. Bought alcohol on the way to the probation officer with the intention of drinking it straight after. I managed not to drink anything though.

Well done, FF
What have you done with it? Have you thrown it out?
You know my saying: You're not trying if you're still buying.
But well done on not drinking it. Now get rid of it, please
How did it go with your Probation Officer?

Messed up again , went through hellish withdrawal ( but luckily just for one day ) and now i am on day 6 starting to feel normal , i booked my psychiatrist appointment and she has me on some benzos to calm me down , i was doing pretty well for about 2 months and destroyed it all ,she told me that it's normal to relapse and to not feel so depressed about this , and i actually don't feel so depressed , i feel like i learned something by failing like this. I feel like i need a community to get through this and you guys and girls are always here , so i'm back.

Good morning everyone

It’s very gloomy in So Cal today. We had 2 days of gorgeous and now back to this 🫤 I’m ready for it to get to 80° and stay there for awhile.

Have a great day everyone. For those struggling hold on with all everything you’ve got. It sucks but we can do this!

Day 70
