I’m in a psychiatric hospital
Morning all here in uk I’ve been in a mental health hospital for 8 days now and I’m feeling much better today makes it my 8th day sober and it’s been so many months since I’ve been sober that long. Hope you all have a lovely sober day😊

That's so great to hear Misstqueent. Eight days sober, and getting the help you need, at last. I could not have read a better post for today.

I while back I had checked myself into a Mental Health Hospital. I could only stay for 4 days but, it was good for me to reset and get back some rational thinking. I remember that I was at the end of my rope and drinking was causing terrible thoughts I could not stop.
I hope you have a good stay and benefit from the time you stay there.

My recovery journey began on the ground floor of the psychiatric hospital
back in Aug. 1990. From then on, I have incorporated a program of recovery
as a daily guideline to living and achieving continuous sobriety.
Knowing that we are not alone is comforting.
Awesome achievement in learning how to remain sober moving forward.

Im really glad you are doing well. Recovery can be difficult at times but always better then picking up a drink which leads to the inevitable misery. One day at a time, ride out any bumps and things get better over time. I'm looking forward to sharing this journey of recovery with you.
