This weekend I’m going to a music festival. I hate music festivals 🤣 My (newish) partner really likes like music, so I’m going along with an open mind. It’s interesting as an ex-drinker to see the goings on. I think even as a drinker I’d never have paid such prices and some of the concoctions aka cocktails leave me bemused and even more glad I don’t drink! Have a good weekend everyone 🙂

Glad you found us and joined the family. 
Well, I went to bed almost an hour ago and laid there, trying to ignore the itching and just fall asleep, but it didn't happen.
Billie was all snuggled up against me and I felt so peaceful but for the itching on my scalp. So I finally got out of bed and am making something to eat, hopefully by the time I'm done eating, the meds I took will be working and the itching will go away.

Saou, nice photo. I like the interesting adage about the origin of tiered cakes.
I’ve got the plumber here doing a service on our central heating system (boiler). I had a quick tidy round the kitchen where the boiler is . Hope he doesn’t need to do anything in the other rooms. Mr. Mags is still in bed.

^ I’ve got my Wellington boots ready, Alpine and Purps 😁. These things can get muddy.
I’m no musician, but I can appreciate the preparation a band has had to put in. What I’ll never understand is these DJs at events who basically play other people’s music and flex their ego on stage 🤣
I must admit I’m looking forward to it. It’s also inclusive for kids, so the drinks on offer will include sensible options. Plus it won’t finish late - how old do I sound? 😀

I know I’m blasé about this festival, but without wanting to sound narcissistic, i wouldn’t be going to this festival or doing lots of these things if I’d still been living my dull and empty drinker’s life. Without alcohol and the dull people associated with it holding you back, so much more is possible.

I decided not to do laundry, at least this morning, although it's getting later. I'll be running out of clothes soon so I'd better get on it soon.
