Biopsy Results & Covid

Good morning all!

The breast biopsy test results came back benign! Thank goodness!
Thank you all for being here, and being supportive through this really rough patch in my life.

For those of you who've had Covid: how long did symptoms persist after you cleared the virus? I'm going on day 8 of this, and still have no taste or smell, awful and persistent headaches, and some pretty heavy fatigue.

Hope you all have a great week!

Glad to hear the positive biopsy results.

Drinking a lot of healthy fluids (watered down sports drink for me) helped with my COVID symptoms. I slowly got back into outside activities to get over the fatigue. Taste and smell gradually came back, but are still sketchy sometimes 2.5 years later. Staying well hydrated seems to help.

My Covid cleared really fast once the T-cells (from the vaccine) kicked in. I am a big cyclist, and was back on the bike on Day 4, but I also tested positive through Day 7. I just made sure to mask and avoid people. And lots of ginger lemon tea.. Make sure you get plenty of rest and stay hydrated.

So glad you got good results on the biopsy.

So glad your biopsy was benign!!

Hope you feel better soon. I somehow have not had Covid. Or If I did the vaccines did the trick and I did not know it. I have been quite careful. I still try to avoid eating out indoors. I also avoid crowded indoor spaces or wear a mask.

Unfortunately I had a near constant tension headache for about 12 months, I would advise if the headaches continue for a few weeks/months to try to get to a neurologist. The only thing I found that helped was
getting botox injections but you don't have to suffer for 12 months like I did. I tried other treatments but nothing else worked. I didn't have any other long term side effects but then again everyone is different.

Congrats on the good news about your biopsy.

I've had covid twice and the first time (one of the earlier strains) left me feeling weak and fatigued for several weeks, jelly legs and just exhausted and the smell came and went intermittently for some time second time in Feb I think it was I recovered very quickly but did end up getting sick with other germs pretty quick afterwards and ended up needing Penicillin to shift them. Everyone is different and as others said make to stay hydrated and plenty of rest as this can still be a nasty virus and it has a good pop at your immune system. Get well soon

Great news on the biopsy 🎉

For me covid was a couple of days of a dry cough. It does seem to vary a lot from person to person, hopefully you will feel better soon!
