Hi, I know people suggested I start one long thread about my journey and add to it everyday ( which I did) , but I don’t find it as motivating or accountable as the daily posts … so I hope it’s OK if I resume those. My head is now clear, I have an upcoming work trip to Africa (I don’t drink on work trips) and am feeling more positive but ever vigilant … Onwards !

As Anna said, you can do whatever you like ICDT.

I suggested the continuing thread cos I think makes it easier for you to see your progress - you get to reflect in the whole journey.

I think its actually more accountable that way, too?

Its easy to start over with new daily threads for sure, but sometimes burying old mistakes may not be the approach needed.

Still, I know you're going to do whatever you think is best, and we all have the freedom to do just that here.

If you believe daily threads are the best way to help you stay sober for good, that's great.

Day 7, that's great I can!
THe work trip to Africa sounds interesting.
I also don't drink on trips because I'm usually with people. It's when I'm home and alone that I'm more tempted.
