Alcohol, as we know, is a powerful anaesthetic … the pain from my broken shoulder is excruciating but the thought of drinking has not crossed my mind - it would be very stupid, not to mention life threatening as I’m on powerful pain killers so bizarrely I see this (not even entertaining the thought of drinking) as a win with regards to moving along with my sobriety … every cloud and all that .. :-)

So awesome your not having thoughts too drink. Drinking really would be a terrible idea, it's never a good idea but outright dangerous when injured. I really do hope the pain diminishes soon. Stay strong Ican 😊
