So I’m making an Indian dish with chillies, ginger, garlic, mustard and wilted spinach. Just as it’s nearly done you add juice of a fresh lime. Next to the cooker I have a larger glass of fizzy water and ice which looks remarkably like a gin and tonic. My reflex, totally without thinking was to squirt the lime juice in the drink. Maybe my AV thought it would give me a craving for a real G and T. But no ! I outwitted Gollum again and intend to enjoy my fizzy water with my dinner … but how pre-programmed my brain must be to do that right ? Ever vigilant !

I do the no sugar fizzy water with lemon too. Sometimes put blueberries or strawberries in it.

Indian sounds good. Might do that for dinner.
