Day 54 … diet back on track, gym tour and Jubilee avoidance
I think I’ve got over my craving for crappy food and intend to make a spicy lentil dahl with prawn and spinach shortly.
Managed to ignore the Jubilee celebrations and accompanying booze fest. Went to new gym but they’d messed up my admission card so I couldn’t use it but I got a tour of the facilities which was fun ! Still mulling idea of holiday but let’s not open up that debate again !

54, nice, Ican! I found that staying home, traveling, whatever- I had to have a plan in the early days. I didn't avoid much of anything- but I also did know I was done with drinking and didn't have cravings. I think that's when you will know you can go do things and it won't matter who you are around, when you never have a craving. But still have a PLAN. Know what you will drink, even kind of what you will eat if food is a trigger, and who you will be with and how you will leave a situation if you get uncomfortable. I always bring my own yummy beverage if I am in doubt, and I don't hesitate to take myself out of situations as needed. I recently went on my first trip out of the country without drinking (at 8 months sober) and had the time of my life- alcohol was never even a side note. I wouldn't have dreamed such a thing 8 months before!!!!
Bloody jubilee. Feed the poor!
Congrats on 54 days Ican.
I bought the ingredients for cauliflower soup and silken tofu today. Sounds posh. Hope it pans out. Bought a blender too.
I'm away!
haha.
