Day 39 … ticking along … support from all directions !
Got up, went for lunch with friends, ( no one drank - it didn’t even cross my mind to do so ! ). Came back, did some work, had my Sunday evening Zoom meeting with a British online sobriety group I’m part of .. and now deciding on supper. A quiet uneventful day which suits me just fine. Although SR is my rock, I think the other things I’ve put in place help a lot too - my weekly Zoom with members of another group, daily accountability on that site ( it’s very women orientated which I like) too and weekly one to one counselling from its founder makes me super accountable. I’d truly feel bad if I gave in now and I have no intention of doing so ! But the big thanks goes to SR - you’ve always had my back and I’m soooo grateful !
