Welcome!

I'm glad you found us and posted. It's great that you're on Day 4, and I think you'll probably feel better soon. Staying stopped is the hard part, so maybe you could come up with a plan as to how you will get through the days and weeks without drinking. Checking in here frequently could be helpful.

Welcome to the family. I quit drinking 11 and a half yrs ago and don't regret a minute of it. And not once, in all those years, did I ever wake up sober and feeling good and wished I had drank the night before.

SR has helped me greatly. I hope we can help you as well.

Welcome, You probably have a few days left of not feeling so good. I think you probably already know the drill like hydrating and such. Hang in there, every minute that goes by you're getting a little bit better.

Congratulations on 4 days freeerdays! it is tough for a while but gets easier eventually (it's always worth remembering that when you want a drink) Good luck!

Sounds like you are doing really well, keep taking care of yourself, occupying your time, eat well, lots of rest. Keep posting about how you are doing. I am in AA, it's a good thing to keep bust in the early days and even better to keep you sober from there. Hit as many meetings as you can

Hi Freee…I know the feelin 😞 I’ve quit so many many times…I’ve gone through kindling (withdrawals from quitting over and over again that get progressively worse every time) periods that were awful…I got so sick n tired of being sick n tired.

Youll get there… just stay here for support…It will get better just hang in there.

I admire the bravery to post. I hope this time will be the last time you'll have to quit.

Have you figured out why you start drinking again once you've quit?
