Aw, thank you all, I feel great knowing that the temptation past, it was only when I was alone and my family were out seeing other family that it hit me, I kept busy and it soon passed

Yay for you, Boggle!

Each time we get through one of the testing times the foundation and strength in our sobriety grows. It builds, and courage in ourselves persists.

Great stuff Boggle. Christmas, and all!

I got a bottle of gin and a bottle of wine as presents, anyone of my daughters friends come in this them I ask if they want tea or a drink, they usually drink the gin, least that way it will get drunk and emptied as for the wine it's sitting In the garage waiting on a friend to give away, I've no notion for either, long may it last, I hope your all well x

Hi Boggle, thats the way to do it. Ignore the cravings and they’re gone the next morning. I‘m a week away from two years without a drink, but I still get a craving every month or so.

What I will say is, why have that gin or any alcohol in the house? If you get tempted to drink, having no alcohol nearby could be the difference between giving up forever and relapsing.

Hood, the gin is nearly done, and the wine is for a friend I'm not tempted by it at all, but I won't push my luck either
