happy holidays to all

During these tough times, it's hard to find something that brings a smile to our faces. Finding something to look forward to isn't easy for many people. I'm not spending any time with my family but I'm used to it, but many aren't. I just hope they find some comfort in knowing better times are coming. John

Thank you, John. We're not doing anything special - too risky. As you said, better times are coming - & we can be grateful for that.

Despite everything, I'm a lucky guy. Can't complain. Very grateful for what I have. John

Yes you are.

I admire the work you've done -- and that you are and were willing to do it -- since I've known who you are here.

I'm sure your way of working through sobriety continues to help a lot of people.

I've been looking for places that need volunteers during Thanksgiving, but am having a hard time finding any. Maybe all the churches, etc. have all the volunteers they need, but I'll keep trying. Really want to help. Kind of frustrating. I volunteered to deliver turkeys during Thanksgiving a long time ago and really enjoyed it. John

Food banks typically get busy around holidays. Have you checked with both community and church organizations?
