Binging on sweet things in early recovery
My biggest craving, which I indulged, was for dark chocolate. I still like it a lot, but don't go to extremes anymore. It's just your body craving the sugar it got from alcohol. It will pass.
Forget early recovery, I have developed the most intense sweet tooth now that I no longer drink (been about 2.5 years). Luckily I really workout a lot and put some other protocols like intermittent fasting in place but man I could just eat ice cream like it's my job. Beats wasting my life away as a drunk though!
