I am now on day 19 and things are getting better each day. I still have periods when it is tough but they are becoming fewer and less intense. To put them into perspective , they are so much easier to get through now than at the start so anyone starting or with a few days thinking of relapsing or that it seems that the sickness and pain never ends, push though, it does get better.

Day 2
Good morning friends. This is the beginning of day 2 for me. Got 6 hrs of sleep that to my friend Ambien & Melatonin. I have to have 5 to 6 hrs of sleep r I am a veg. This is about my 3rd time to get sober this year. I drink everyday. Anywhere from 10 beers to 6 beers
& a bottle of wine then passing out. I have been gaining weight daily, seriously, about 2 lbs a day. My BP is out of control. I know that I am on a self destruct course. I decided that I want to be sober. That is the greatest gift that I could give to myself this holiday season. I have name the month of November, No-no November. No alcohol. Looking forward to chatting with all of you. Stay sober.

Good morning everyone. I hope you all got through yesterday alcohol free! This is the start of Day 3. I've been clean for the past 5 days, except for election night I had a couple light drinks. Kicked myself for those, then moved on. I plan to be alcohol free for the rest of this month and beyond. To infinity and beyond!
Here's to an AF day for all!

beginning of day 4
Morning to all. Made it through another day AF! Yay! I plan on being productive today, exercise, chores, errands, making healthy meals at home. The weather here is gorgeous. I have got to take advantage of it as old man winter will pop in at any time. Hope you all have a great day. Stay strong, stay sober.
