10 am drunk
Hi Finalcall. Hope you are feeling a bit better since youfirst posted. I've been there FC, it's hard at this point, but so long as you put the cork back in the bottle it will get better. Don't concern yourself with how "much you have to do". Let it go. The most important thing to do at the moment is to not drink alcohol, drink lots of water, and rest. Something light to eat if you're able.
It will get better FC and the broken bits will mend.
On your side Finalcall.

I agree with the others - drinking is no solution and it's not the way to 'fix' ourselves.
I think you know this FC.
Don't spend the rest of the day drinking. Cut it off now and you'll feel way better tomorrow.

Drinking is one way to go, but not too many of us can sustain the lifestyle. And we usually don't get to live long enough to talk about the bad old days.
If you can't stop on your own, then you need some serious help. No two ways about it. Everything else is just procrastination. I've been around SR for six/seven years, and I've seen it happen over and over again. I think that asking for help is the cutting edge for many of us.
Reach out for the help you need. The worst thing that can happen is that you get sober.

Your post is like a punch to the gut I so remembering feeling like that. You can break free and looking back on days like that will remind you to be grateful. It really is that much better after you do what you need to do to solve this.
Hello, FC. I have been there many times, drunk on Sunday morning with so much that I need to take care of, absolutely disgusted and without hope. It doesn't have to be this way--it'd be much better to throw out the booze and stick around here with us than continue to drink and make matters worse. Anything that has been broken can be mended, and my life was nearly destroyed before I surrendered to sobriety and fixed what I needed to. You can do this, and I hope you check in soon--I wish you all the best.
Hey FC. Like many, I got hit with horrible memories from your post, it is a painful and sufferingful place to be. But that said, like many, I have left that place of pain and suffering behind. You can too.
