Thanks again to everyone for congratulations my 8 months. Never thought it possible, and never thought I'd be so happy to be be sober. So many responses did my self esteem a power of good. ❤️
No, fini I've not read Jack London's , "John Barleycorn". I've read other works by him, and he's a great writer. Didn't know this one existed. Definitely on my "must read" list. Thank you.

Thank you so much everyone. Jeez. I feel loved. I'm beginning to love this sober life. Wish it for all those struggling here, it is the best thing I have ever done for myself.
Thanks again fini. Didn't know good old Jack was an alcoholic. I thought he was good politically, and had a wide range. A def read. Only starting to read again and got myself a bit of a primer on the Spanish Civil War. A very brutal war.
