Hey PK sending you some love and support. It's all about self-care now. Look after yourself physically and try not to bash yourself too much emotionally. It's one step at a time and you will start to feel better. Then the trick is figuring out ways not to pick up again. We can help you with that!

Prettie - How has the day gone? Yes, it's miserable coming off it - but this awful time never has to be repeated. Maybe write down how you feel so you never forget. I wish I'd done that - the memory dims sometimes. I hope you were able to enjoy your husband's birthday. Thinking of you.

Thank you for asking. Today was rough. I’m sweaty and have a racing heart, felt sick for most of the day. I’m sober, though! Made the cake and more soup including homemade pasta with my kid. I saved everything in a document so I will have it all to look at later.

I am sorry to hear this but glad you have stopped now. I know the come down is super hard.

Just don't drink, no matter what! Not even a drop! Let the physical withdrawal run its course and get medical help if it gets bad. Just think - if you never drink again, you'll never have to feel this badly again.

Thanks, all. I’m on day three! I’m grumpy as all get out but I’m doing my sober thing which right now looks like doing my SMART workbook, watching Netflix and napping, and eating lots of peaches.
This has been my easiest withdrawal in recent history and I don’t know why but i’m Grateful.
