Nonia this town is garbage. There isnt even a nice park within walking distance or i'd go out more. Only reason I stayed so long was work but im not doing that anymore.

I resisted the urge today by going shopping and cooking though in hindsight i couldve picked up the same dish at the chinese place for the same cost as the ingredients, next time

Ahhh but you cooked it and it took time and got your mind off of stuff. Good thing you did cook it.

You do sound depressed. Have you ever had treatment for your mood? Of course they are unlikely to be very effective if you still drink and use your addictive substances.

I think most people who consider themselves happy or at least well-adjusted, with many rewarding experiences, usually work for it quite hard. The best things don't usually just happen or are thrown at us, we need to seek them and create them. Create the meaning we would like to enjoy. But it is very hard while drinking and drugging heavily, I don't think it works for anyone. So if you feel this way often, I would definitely focus on getting off the drugs and maybe try some form of treatment.
