Friday Night sober 47 days
This is my first post. It’s Friday. I’m doing nothing. I can’t find a meeting. It’s great that I haven’t had a drink... been exercising... working on me... my relationships... reading the big book. However this is hard and boring! And I feel sad I’m sitting here alone so I thought I would reach out and see if anyone is doing the same thing and if they have any advice.
Well done! COVID if nothing else has given us the opportunity to look at different and stimulating passtimes.
Passive social drinking can be so futile, dull and boring compared with all those better options.

I have a much better buzz than drinking.
Really fast pace workout, absolutely pushing myself. Tough day at work which is all math and logic so I'm just physically and mentally exhausted. Then a nice drive through the country a little bit to get dinner. I love the serenity of around the time just before the sun sets.
You always have you tube, plenty of aa speakers there. Bring a speaker meeting right into your home. Sometimes it's good to hear the voice of another alcoholic.
