The question that I am asking myself pertains to myself, but it probably way more important to a newcomer who is new to recovery and prefers to stay in AA. I have the hardest time finding any AA marathon meetings. I can count five marathon meetings in NA (count it five meetings). Since I work dual fellowship recovery program, I can just attend the NA meetings and be fine.

I want the ability to go into a meeting with waiting until 30 or 00 part of the hour to enter a meeting. And NA has four marathon meetings where you can always have to place to share at any time and any place.

When it comes to finding meeting in AA, there is no problem finding meetings. Just go to New York or LA intergroup and you find no problems with finding meetings. But I still am looking for those damn marathon meetings. Which would be very useful for the newcomer especially.

There are people in recovery that relate more to AA than NA and vice versa. My question is really for the person does one fellowship instead of two especially given that both fellowships are similar but use different literature and different terms. That can get especially confusing for the newcomer. In my recovery, I found that AA alone did not work and I had to do both programs to get seven years.

So does anybody know of any good AA marathon meetings especially for the newcomer
