Totting up new skills
It never fails to surprise me.
The things I learn without seeming to try.
I just do them and then think after, wow that’s something I couldn’t do before.
Of course I am trying but, trying has become a default setting and doesn’t seem to bother me anymore.
In the back of my mind I know I’m setting something up but then forget about it and wait for it to mature while I’m setting something else up.
A steady supply of rewards filter in, such a nicer way to live than the ‘quick fix’ that alcohol says it gives then steals all the ambition and all of the above.
I love being sober.
Gets better and better like I was promised.
